Extensive Experience: Dr. Gogoi has over 35 years of experience in comprehensive urology practice, specializing in complex and challenging urological procedures. Bulk of his referrals are for the management of urological complications.
Renal Transplants: He has performed over 1000 renal transplants, with outcomes matching global benchmarks. Widely acclaimed for undertaking transplants in rehabilitated bladders (pre transplant Augmentation cystoplasty, Neobladders with continent diversion etc). He also has a distinction in conducting one of the largest series of Paediatric kidney transplants in India.
Robotic Surgery: Dr. Gogoi is trained in robotic surgery and has extensive experience in performing robotic surgical procedures for both benign and malignant diseases of kidney, bladder, prostate, and adrenal glands. His forte is Retzius Sparing Robotic Radical prostatectomy, Radical Cystectomy with orthotopic neobladder & Robotic Kidney Transplant in large BMI patients.
Reconstructive Urology: He is renowned for his work in reconstructive urology, including complex urethral strictures, congenital malformations (extrophy, epispadias, hypospadias etc), neobladders, phalloplasties, neovaginas, anti-incontinence treatments, and genito-urinary fistulas.
Paediatric Urology: Recognised both in India and abroad for his excellent outcomes in managing Congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT) (e.g. bladder agenesis, hypospadias, exstrophy- epispadias complex etc.)
